How it all started

Already in my early childhood I fell under the spell of modelling – at elementary school I devoted myself not only to aeronautical models, but I also tried model railways. However, my love for airplanes won the day and I have been making model airplanes for over fifty years now.

The beginnings were not exactly easy, especially at a young age, yet I persevered, attending a model club, going to local airports to watch modelers and enthusiastically gluing my first creations.

I've built a number of airplane models over the years, with the JAK C-11, Smith-Miniplane and Gee Bee among my favorites.

In 1990, a stroke of luck brought me in contact with R. Freudenthaler, a four-time world champion, who offered me to collaborate in the production of Surprise models, which continues to this day.
